If you are a current Team Leader, or just considering getting involved, here's some general info for you. Check out the training page as well, for information on our entire training programme.
GREEN TEAM NEWS….
... comes out every month. In it you will find special information just for you, as well as general updates on what's happening in GT world.
LEADERS LAUNCH 2011....
... was awesome! About 50 Green team leaders from all over gathered together to eat yummy food, connect with each other and be brought up-to-date with GT2011.
Each year we introduce changes and developments to Schoolies Festival and Green Team and this event is key to communicating this information to you. It usually happens around July with registration opening soon after.
REGISTRATION....
... is open between August and October.
POLICE CHECKS....
... are compulsory for ALL volunteers. We accept National Police Certificates dated this year or the previous year. If you have a current NPC on file already, it will tell you in the registration process. If you need to get one and don't know how, check out the step-by-step process on the FAQ's page.
EXTERNAL TRAINING....
... empowers you to train your teams yourself, at your own pace, employing your own expertise with ours. In partnership with our on-site training through GT Launch Day, external training helps us work with you on a more individual level while still maintaining a high level of skill and unity in our wider team.
GT = FAIR TRADE....
... all our clothing is being supplied by a company who are 100% ethical. Feel free to check out their code of conduct for yourself.
